Warm Coffee & Mulled Wine
There’s something about a warm coffee brown makeup look that just screams FALL to me.
In America, it was just summer not too long ago, meaning fresh, dewy and an effortless sunny look was in.
Don’t get me wrong, natural beauty is so amazing but I personally love fall for it’s dark sense of fashion and makeup.
Although some days I go darker than others, this is my favorite go to “pop of color” fall look.
With a warmer brown towards the inner corner of my eye that then blends out into a yellow on the outer corner, it reminds me of nothing more than a warm cup of coffee on a chilly, leaf color-changing fall day.
To counter the pop of colour, I used a dark brown lip to help it all go together.
One of my absolute favorite things to do during the fall is enjoy a toasty glass of mulled wine. As if wine wasn’t already the most perfect beverage in existence, heat it up in a crock pot with some spices and you’ll question why anyone would even bother drinking literally anything else (who needs water anyway).
Spooning a 44oz insulated tumbler full of spiced booze on the couch while binge watching Netflix
almost makes me forget about the crippling seasonal depression is a great way to spend a night in!
For this look I went with a metallic, dark red lip(OCC Cosmetics Lip Tar– black metal dahlia) reminiscent of a good merlot. You could definitely switch up this look by using a matte red, or even a brown lippie.
I embraced the wino lifestyle and kept a red color palette for my eye look as well. This grungy smokey eye has a cranberry red on the lid, plum on the outer corner, and rich golden inner corner highlight.
My false lashes are by House of Lashes (premium luxe– spellbound lashes); the wispy texture reminded me of the windy autumn weather.
